How We Do It
ETS-Base is a proprietary water-based solution that weakens the intermolecular structure that binds compounds together, like a wedge between a magnet. This allows the liberated compounds to separate into different layers, based on solubility and density. The hydrocarbons separate from the solids.
ETS Treated Tank
The addition of 40 gallons of ETS-Base into 400 barrels our customer was able to reduce their heavy metals in their crude oil. Iron dropped by 96.42%, Chlorine by 99.79%, Calcium by 99.11% and Sulfur dropped by 72.08%.
Control Sample Tank
Crude oil started with 8314.0 ppm of Iron, 7778.7 ppm of Chlorine, 2260.1 ppm of Calcium and 1.00309% wt. of Sulfur. Customer was looking to lower their heavy metal content to achieve a higher return.
